FirstLantic Healthcare is a privately owned and operated company that has had roots in southeast Florida since 1981.
Owned by Bart Delsing, Partner/Chief Operating Officer, and Jack Maloney, Partner/President, FirstLantic Healthcare's corporate office is in Ft. Lauderdale, with a second office in Palm Beach County.
In January of 2000, Atlantic Healthcare, owned by Bart, merged with First Quality Rehabilitation, founded by Jack, to form FirstLantic Healthcare.
Prior to forming FirstLantic Healthcare, Bart and Jack enjoyed successful careers in the healthcare industry. Bart was the President of the Hollywood/Miami franchise of Interim Healthcare, Inc. His responsibilities included finance, human resources, quality assurance, clinical operations, pharmacy and durable medical equipment. When this franchise was sold back to Interim Healthcare, Inc., Bart was appointed South Florida Area Manager and ran the day-to-day operations of three Medicare/Medicaid certified branch operations, a durable medical equipment company and an infusion pharmacy. He participated in several national quality improvement initiatives.
Jack Maloney was the founder of First Quality Rehabilitation, a comprehensive homecare rehabilitation company serving Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Jack's responsibilities included staff recruitment, development and supervision, along with finance, quality assurance, and operations. In addition to providing rehabilitation services to individuals in their home environments, First Quality Rehabilitation became the premier provider of supplemental rehabilitative staffing for tri-county hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community facilities.
Bart is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Jack is a graduate of Dartmouth College with his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Bart and Jack live in Palm Beach County with their wives and children.
Both Bart and Jack are integral and present in the day-to-day operations of FirstLantic Healthcare. They can be seen in the office on a daily basis and in the community visiting clients and customers.
