How can I pay for home care services, and how much does it cost? At FirstLantic, our home care services are covered by Medicare, long term care insurance, worker's compensation or private pay. A FirstLantic Professional Care Manager can also help you determine if you are eligible to receive VA benefits that can be used to cover home care costs. The cost for home care varies depending on the type of services needed. How much time does it take to start services? In most cases, FirstLantic can provide caregivers within 48 hours of the services being requested.
